Tackling Dreams

I first started writing as a young child, using reading and writing as a tool for escape.  As I got older, the dream of writing became stronger and stuck with me. As a senior in high school I was unfortunately told that writing was not a career, stopped writing, and went into a Business Administration degree program instead because "that's where the money and jobs are". Well, on my 18th birthday I developed fibromyalgia which became worse as I aged. I am now unable to work a standard job and my hands cramp even trying to enjoy crafting. After my son's brush with Death at just one-year-old and realizing that life is truly not guaranteed, I decided that fibromyalgia and family were not going to stop me from accomplishing my writing dreams. I would prove to my children that Mommy can and will accomplish her dreams and that they can as well.
